Contest Official Rules and Regulations

  1. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: To be eligible for this Promotion, you must be an entrepreneur and/or the owner of a small business (“participant”). For-profit, not-for-profit, and social enterprises are eligible. Employees of an eligible business may also enter, provided they have written permission from the owner, president, or chief executive officer of the business.

The represented business must fit the following criteria:

  • Be a revenue-generating Canadian business with 1-100 employees.
  • Have a dedicated business bank account that is not used for any personal expenditures.
  • Have annual revenue not exceeding one million Canadian dollars ($1,000,000 CAD).
  • Not be a major franchise or large multi-location franchisee. (Corporate accounts are not eligible, but individual, independent franchisee locations are permitted).
  1. START AND CLOSING DATES: The Entry Period (the “Entry Period”) for the Promotion begins on June 24th at 9:00 AM Eastern Daylight Time (“EDT”) and ends on June 29 at 9:00 AM EDT. A participant will be selected by randomized draw  and a mathematical skill-testing question will be required to win. Selected entrants will be contacted on June 30, and the winners will be announced on July 2.
  2. HOW TO PARTICIPATE: No purchase necessary. Making a purchase will not in any way increase or otherwise impact your chances of selection.

To enter the Promotion and drive social engagement, participants must complete the following during the Entry Period:

  • Follow our official social media account.
  • Tag a Canadian small business in the comments of the official contest post.
  1. RESTRICTIONS ON ELIGIBILITY AND ENTRY: THE PROMOTION IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW, RULE OR REGULATION and is not open to residents of QC, YT, NWT, NU. Only one entry per business, please do not attempt to enter via multiple entrants or persons, as this may end up in disqualification from the Promotion. The entrant to the Promotion must be a resident of Canada who has reached the legal age of majority in their province/territory of residence at the time of entry. Employees, representatives, contractors or agents (and those with whom such persons are domiciled, whether related or not) of the Sponsor, its affiliates, advertising/promotion agencies and any other individual(s), entity or entities involved in the development, implementation, administration, judging or fulfillment of the Promotion are not eligible to participate in the Promotion.
  2. PRIZES: There are a total of five (5) prizes available to be won. Each prize consists of one (1) $100 Gift Card (approximate retail value of $100.00 CAD each). Prizes will be fulfilled, distributed, and delivered to the confirmed winners by Zensurance Brokers Inc.. Delivery of the Prizes will be completed within thirty (30) days following the July 1st winner announcement.
  3. WINNER SELECTION & SKILL-TESTING QUESTION: Following the close of the Entry Period, five (5) potential winners will be selected in a randomized draw (“the odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Entry Period.”) from all eligible entries received. The selected entrants will be contacted via direct message on June 30. Before being declared a confirmed winner, each selected entrant must correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question without mechanical or other aid.
