Contest Official Rules and Regulations
HOW TO ENTER the Contest:
- NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Beginning May 29th, 2025, at 12:01 a.m. (E.T.) when you visit the Zensurance (“Contest Sponsor” or “Sponsor”) booth at the Small Business Expo and enter your contact information into the Contest form, you will be automatically entered into a contest for a chance to win a $100 gift card or similar prize of our choosing equivalent in value ($100 value). Limit one entry per person for this contest, and entrants must be the age of majority in the provinces of Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland & Labrador.
- Key Dates: The contest commences May 29, 2025 at 12:01 a.m. (E.T.) and ends May 29, 2025 at 5:59 p.m. (E.T.) (the “Contest Closing Date”).
- Entry/Eligibility: To enter and be eligible to win, you must have entered during the contest period. As well you must be a resident of Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland & Labrador.
who has reached the age of majority in your province of residence, and not be an employee of, or domiciled with an employee of Zensurance, or any of its prize suppliers, affiliates, advertising and promotional agencies. The contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations.
- Prize: $100 gift card or similar prize of our choosing equivalent in value ($100 value). The prize must be accepted as awarded and is not transferable or convertible to cash. No prize substitutions will be allowed except at the option of the Contest Sponsor in the event of unavailability.
- The Draw: Five (5) random draws will be made by an authorized employee of Zensurance in Toronto, ON from all eligible entries during the Contest Period. If the potential winner can not be contacted by telephone or email within five (5) business days of the official draw date, an alternate potential winner will be drawn.
- Skill Testing Question: The contacted potential winners must correctly answer, without assistance of any kind, whether mechanical or otherwise, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question. Accommodations can be made where required to provide the skill-testing question in a format acceptable to the winner.
- Declaration and Release: The Winner agrees to sign the Contest Sponsor’s standard declaration and release form confirming compliance with the rules and regulations and waiving any liability of Zensurance, its partners, directors, officers, employees, agents, any affiliates with regard to injury, accident, or loss or damage of any kind arising out of or related to participation in this promotion or acceptance of a prize as awarded. Contest Sponsor will not be responsible for late, lost or stolen entries.
- Consent: By accepting a prize, the winner consents to the use of their name, city of residence and/or likeness, without further compensation in any advertising or publicity or marketing efforts carried out by Zensurance and its partners and agents.
- Entry Must be compliant: By participating, each contestant agrees to abide by the contest rules and decisions which are final. All entries become the property of Zensurance and none will be returned.
- Verification:
The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to require proof of identity and/or eligibility (in a form acceptable to the Sponsor – including, without limitation, government-issued photo identification): (i) for the purposes of verifying an individual’s eligibility to participate in this contest; and (ii) for any other reason the Sponsor deems necessary, in its sole and absolute discretion, for the purposes of administering this contest. Failure to provide such proof to the complete satisfaction of the Sponsor within the timeline specified by the Sponsor may result in disqualification in the sole and absolute discretion of the Sponsor.
General
- The odds of winning the contest will depend upon the total number of eligible entries received during the contest period. All eligible entries must be received by 5:59 p.m. E.T. on May 29, 2025.
- Zensurance reserves the right, without any prior notice and at their sole discretion, to make prize substitutions of equivalent kind or value for any reason whatsoever. By entering, each contestant agrees to release Zensurance and its partners and agents from any and all liability arising out of or relating to the conduct of the contest or the award and use of the prize.
- Zensurance reserves the right to change the terms of the contest or suspend or terminate it at any time, without prior notice.
- By entering this contest, each entrant expressly consents to the Sponsor, its agents and/or representatives, storing, sharing and using the personal information submitted for the purpose of administering the contest, and in accordance with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy (https://www.zensurance.com/privacy-policy). This section does not limit any other consent(s) that an individual may provide the Sponsor or others in relation to the collection, use and/or disclosure of their personal information.
- The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these Rules shall otherwise remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with the terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Rules or the rights and obligations of participants, Sponsor in connection with the contest will be governed by and construed in accordance with the domestic laws of the Province of Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland & Labrador and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions that would cause the application of any other jurisdiction’s laws. The parties hereby consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the courts located in Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland & Labrador iin any action to enforce (or otherwise relating to) these Rules or relating to this contest.
